And another one!! I caught a green sunfish and after 20+ cast net casts, I got ONE minnow. I threw both of them out on 1’ drop floats for about 30 min before hooking this beauty on the minnow!! One baut. One catch. Baller.

Finally! I have been hunting these critters for the past three days. After dozens of cast net throws and more than a few misses, I finally landed one with the most perfect hookset you can get! Those “beak hook” hooks really work!!

I caught some MONSTER MULLET in the cast net this morning on the Neches! These are eating size. About 12-14”!

Caught a herpes bass on a 6th Sense 4.8” Bodega. WTH is wrong with this fish?!?

I don’t care what you say, Gaspergoo makes good Étouffée! Caught a small crab on a chicken leg, put claw on a 1/0 Octopus, and half on a 6/0 Octo. He bit the claw!!

Early morning, slough bowfin.

Set out to catch a bowfin (Grennel) this morning and caught two in about half an hour!
