Took my niece fishing for the first time today. All she did was catch a boat record 11.9lb flattie on her 2nd fish. Her first was a 3.5lb flathead also. Pretty sure I made a lifetime fisherman out of her today.

Biggest male mudfish I've ever caught at 4.3 lbs and then a few girthy gals for my dad and I all over 6lbs.

Crazy mudfish action! 3 big ones landed yesterday (one almost 8lbs) and lost 2 other decent ones at the boat. Got a double also, reeling in one when my other rod bent over. Chaos in the best way possible.

Surprise blue cat while bream fishing. It hit a nighcrawler on a #2 bait hook. To the freezer!!!

Finally topped 10 lbs with this beauty blue cat!

Couple of nice muddies yesterday. Lost a 3rd big one at the boat.

More bowfin action, including a little late evening catch.
