Got my truck stuck and had to swim for my kayak, but two solid reds and a third that escaped while I was trying to measure it made for a memorable day of fishing. All's well that ends well!

First time fishing this month, went out this morning with a few crickets and kept 6 for dinner.

A few nice gills this morning on crickets and one small one that swallowed too deep to release.

A few bluegill and a black crappie this morning on crickets.

Haven't done much panfish fishing this year so I decided to give it a try this morning before I forget how. Kept 20 to eat, caught close to 30 total. All on crickets except one on a beetle spin.
