Colyer Lake

Went out yesterday. I was about to give up, casted out my bait and was reeling it in towards the dock, and as my line was about to come in, BAM 💥. That pickerel wasn’t playing games; it was hungry and ready to fight. Such beautiful fish. Since I felt lucky, I walked down the bank and found this nice coverage with some trees. I knew a bass was likely in there, especially because it was getting late and they were starting to push back towards shallow waters for feeding. I cast in, and bam, before my jig could even sink, that one swallowed it. I've missed this feeling, and you’ll be seeing more fishing content soon.
