This guy put up an epic fight! I thought I'd lost him for sure when he went under the fallen tree. I was able to get him back out and drag him on the bank. Ultralight rods are the most fun and scary when catching the bigguns lol!

My momma's last fishing day with before she went back home for the fall/winter. Last cast of the day and this guy annihilated the minnow and tried to take my momma with him. To say she was excited was an understatement! Her PB this summer. She'll be back next summer for some more fishing fun.

Y'all! You just don't know how surprised and excited I was to catch my first Bowfin! Caught a tiny #10 hook and the smallest piece of red worm! Super excited about this one!!
