Intracoastal Waterway (NC)

Had a great day today! Also had a 22in flounder we had to put back

This was our last fishing trip for the beach. Under the strawberry moon we didn’t catch much. This guy next to us caught a toadfish though! We had to leave early because it was getting dark and there was some sketchy activity going on. In two weeks I’ll be visiting some family in New York and will Lord willing be fishing again. Tight lines!

Went fishing again! It started off sour when our cast net got caught on the rocks and our lines got snagged multiple times. Unfortunately my brother broke his rod so we will need to get a new one. After that things started picking up we caught tons of pinfish. My family tried using one as bait but nothing bit so we just went back to targeting them. It was lots of fun!

New species tor us: pigfish!

Here’s the purffers! There’s a double because my brother caught the variety pack(pinfish and puffer) there were a few more caught but I guess I don’t have the photos of them
