Last chance to fish a lake I've lived on for almost 20 years. I ate the blessing for dinner.

These pickeral are great fighters. And if you can figure out how to filet them (thanks YouTube) they are excellent to eat. That's a cheapo Shakespeare from Walmart and a lure that stayed about 6 feet down while I trolled the lake in a kayak.

First year fishing fresh water, and the last catches of the year before leaving this home. #fishanglerslam

Great day of fishing off a boat with my grandson earlier from shore. His 1st fish of many.

Was loading the boat up after a good afternoon of fishing already and took one last cast.
