White Kitchen Lake

Did ok this morning. Caught a 20in Choupique and a snall mud cat. Also caught about 15 panfish, but most were too small to keep except one. Beautiful morning!

Just another day at the office in White Kitchen. Caught mostly on worms and one on a beetle spin.

Went looking for other things, but caught this Choupique on a spinner bait! Catch and release.

Hammered em in good ole White Kitchen yesterday. Caught a mixed box of panfish. Put a good bit of meat in the freezer!

Lots of action today! Caught 38 total and kept 16. One of the bluegill was the biggest I’ve ever caught…10 inches! Snuck a Goggle Eye in there too. Really starting to love this small freshwater lake! 😃

Today’s fishing adventure! Landed a nice 3 to 4 lb Choupique who had about 22in of length on him. He put up a fight too! Kept a few panfish for the table as well.

Hit up White Kitchen this evening in the kayak. Caught probably 4 to 5 different species of fish, but most were small so just stuck to catch and release. Hooked into a nice Choupique (bowfin) also using a live bluegill as bait. Also caught a beautiful sunset!

Had a good morning between t-storms. Caught about 35 bluegill and kept the 15 biggest. Also got to try out my new fish cleaning station my wife bought me for Father’s Day! Oh, and lost a 2-3ft long flathead catfish that broke me off on a cypress stump! 🤦🏼‍♂️
