Tried various lurers again and the wacky rig produced the 2 biggest smallmouths.😀

I used a variety of lures today for those smallies. Topwater lures worked out well on the river! I also went back to my wacky rig. Who would of guessed that the smallest fish put up the biggest fight!! Thanks Jeff for the location!! 😜Also met Tim as well.

Have I mentioned I love me some smallmouths? Fantastic day on the river. (I threw in a picture of a largemouth as well…just so they don’t get jealous of all the smallie love)

A little river session this afternoon between projects. Time well spent.

Tried a new spot on the river today and was not disappointed. Didn’t hook any monsters, but got into a good number of loudmouths and smallies. They were crashing ned rigged plastic craws and 4” senkos.
