First flathead. My friend that I was fishing with caught 5 or 6 channel cats as well

Nice chunky channel cat. I hooked into a monster that almost pulled my rod into the river. Sadly, whatever it was wrapped my line around a tree branch and was able to get away. My girlfriend also broke off on another monster shortly after. We will get the big ones next time!
