I was sinking my flies to the bottom. The water was anywhere between 8 to 9 feet deep and then my fly stopped and I set the hook. This was my first trout over 4 pounds at the time so I thought I hooked bottom at first. The fight lasted around fifteen minutes but we managed to land it without a net.
