Grape Creek

Took a friend of mine fishing--his first time flyfishing and he caught two while losing several others. His catches were small but a good learning experience. I caught two larger ones that were 15 and 16 inches using size 14 mosquitoes. We tried to fish DeWeese in the morning but it got too windy so we decided to try Grape Creek below the dam. DeWeese and Grape Creek are very low. There were hundreds of trout between 4 and 7 inches throughout the creek between the dam and the road, but they were easily spooked by my friend as he was trying to learn how to cast with finesse.
