Got 2 of these Patin kolam at Kolam Joran Terbang Batu Berendam. Using a friend's 7" rod n 5000 size reel, with Berkeley monofilament line. Using umpan minyak i.e minyak special plus white flour mix, on a Y shape Patin rig. Quite a fiesty fighters these heavy patins, as they used their weight to their advantage.

Night time fishing for patin at Kolam Joran Terbang. A jolly good fight with really stubborn fishes. Taking turns reeling the fishes until way past midnite
