White Cart Water

Wee trout from a couple of days ago. Some has ate half this fishes tail. Still had a surprisingly good fight for a fish in such condition

Took the Mrs down to the local river today. Got her first fish. On a brown trout pattern CD03 rapala. I got mine on a CD03 but a rainbow trout pattern. We took the kid and she loved it. Brilliant day out with the family 🎣

Wee day down the white cart. Had a great day. 3 fish all in. 1 was half a pound and the other 2 where quite small. I missed a good few. Would highly recommend these 3 gram ultra light rapala lures( I have went for the brown trout version and the rainbow trout) . I had loads of bites and loads of fun. Nice change to the fly or bait I usually do down the rivers.
