Got out yesterday morning we went 3 for 4,my buddy dropped a wiper at the boat trying to horse it a little. The Striper was 15lbs and the Wipers have been good sized too.

Only got 1 missed 3! All released unharmed

Hit the shoreline at the boat launch late last night. Alewives started spawning a few nights ago. Hybrids blasting bait all over the cove. Landed these 2 between 1&3am.

Had the day off yesterday, the pattern that I was on last week totally changed. Marked a few fish that were not interested in bait. Casted the spook and kietects on and off. This 14lber never broke the water surface when it took the spook, slashed up in about 20 foot of water, was hooked instantly. Earliest top water Striper in fresh or salt I've caught.

Had today off, the weather held up and the bar was in good numbers. 4 Wipers between 6 and 7 1/2lbs. The brown was 6 1/4lbs.

Took my niece out yesterday morning, 1st trip this year for her. Tried to get a Striper for her, but she was pretty stoked about a 13lb channel cat. Of course after she left I got on one small striper. 8lber

Got out at first light with my buddy. We landed 3. Two Wipers for him, 7+lbers and a 8lb Pure for me. They were more active when the air temp was below freezing with no wind. Temps rose onto the 40's with the wind picking up. Only a few smallies after that.
