Insane day on the water for so many reasons. Landed a couple really nice fish and had an insane catch on what I’m calling the one eyed Jack 😂 so to tell the story on this thing. I was fishing the Jack 6 by @berkleyfishing on a secondary point when I got snagged in an attempt to get it unstuck in somehow split the bait and pulled the whole eye, hook, and everything. The wind was ripping across this point so I decided to make one more cast with this lure before tying up a new lure and hooked into a solid fish. The second biggest of the day. Afterwards I ended up tying on the @6thsensefishing Quake and caught a tank! . . I’m probably in the overwhelming minority by saying this but August is one of my favorite months of the year to fish especially on seneca. Didn’t catch a lot of size today but had a ton of fun. Spent the majority of the day just junk fishing and put quite a few small ones in the boat this morning. Went back out this evening for about 2 hours and landed the biggest of the fish on the day. . Such a fun day on the water catching fish on my 3 favorite lures: a bladed jig, jig, and a buzzbait. The bass weren’t biting great but I still managed to find a few decent ones and got several bonus crappie bites. The crappie were huge and aggressive with nearly taking the rod out of my hand once. . .
