Dinks on the Battenkill. Sounds like the title of a yet to be written novel. I spent a couple of hours here this morning and saw just a few splashy browns who could not resist my unweighted flashback pheasant tail nymph size 18. I almost feel naked if I’m not fishing one of those somewhere in my set up. Water was gin clear and there are not a whole lot of features in this section. Unfortunately the app doesn’t recognize these well known Hudson tribs like the Battenkill and the Schroon. They all get lumped in as Hudson River. Catch and release….
