Snappers hitting hard!

Got my trip to NY started off well with a few larger commercial slot limit stripers last night. I started catching fish and selling them locally from these very waters over 40 years ago as a young boy with my dad and two brothers. We turned a hobby into a successful business in short order. It’s coming to an end soon but hey, what a ride! People often mistake the motivation believing I go fishing to make money, now that’s a joke! I sell fish when I’m able just so I can afford to go fishing so often! I got hooked early and have spent a lifetime chasing fish around the world 🌎 🎣🤙🏻#catch22

Grabbed this guy right at the start of the day. We hit a pack of bunker saw big ones chasing em.

Was out of commission for the last 2 months. Finally was feeling good enough to get out. Landed 6 fish. 3 short and 3 keepers. Was great to finally get out.
