Ryan Jones At Round Valley Reservoir
Today was a very long hard day of fishing. Started the day off at 4:45 at little swartswood trying for the musky. I saw no interest in the lures that I was throwing, however, there were multiple large musky blowing up on baitfish, which was a good sign. However, I left at about 8 to meet my cousin at round valley. It was rather windy, and since i was confined to a paddleboard, we were forced to stay in the cove by the boat ramp. We fished until 3, he missed a nice bass and caught a tiny perch, while I only caught this little guy. We then went to the swimming area, where we had no luck. We decided to stop at a fourth pond on the way home and again, no luck. 12 hours of fishing, kayaking, and driving, and only one dink to show for it. It was a beautiful day out though. Tomorrow looks like perfect musky weather, overcast, the day after the new moon, and moonrise at 6:15. Hopefully this will produce in a fish before I head to the beach Satirday in search of some sharks #CatchKing
