DADDY'S GOT DINNER!!!🤘😜🤘🎣🍻 It has been a rough couple of days up here, to say the least! Wind has not dropped below 15 with gusts up to 40!!! The lake we are staying builds up some huge waves (way to big for the canoes and kayaks to be helmed, safely) while all the boat rentals have been winterized. But enough of that; we had been trying this spot for 2 days, lots of hookups, but they were popping that hook just as easy. Was using a semi-drop shot with a 3/4 ounce weight (barely enough to keep it from being dragged by the water coming off the dam) and a larger wacky hook with a pink or chartreuse 3" worm. So yesterday we get there (the rain picks up along with the wind) and I just get done with losing em and start trying my ole trustworthy Little Cleo spoon. Ten minutes and I get this guy...and god does the world seem a bit brighter!!! Of course Chels had to top me about five minutes after that!!!(see next post) #BFF#OffTheSkunkOctober

MOMMA'S GOT THE GLORY!!!👏👏👏🤗 It was Chelsey's idea to switch to spoons, so yeah I'll never go fishing without her!🤣 So proud of my fisherlady, salmon was trying to snap the line by running under the dock (had to jump up on the railing and untangle it at one point)but Chels handled her like a pro. This was our trip to Leland, MI, a family favorite destination. My lady showing me up again with one of the prettiest brown trouts Ive ever seen. Second picture, the steelhead, was dinner that night (the brown we released). The third I'm actually not sure what it is( if anyone want to give me there best bet). While the fourth is a better picture of the brown. Most of the hits we had came on semi drop shot senko rig with a long leader. If you can get there, in the month of october, do it! Some of the most exciting fresh water fishing in the midwest!

Well we been skunked the last three weekends so here's a #MemberDatMonday!!! Chels caught this beuty of a lakey while we were looking for steelies. Was an awesome day; only caught 2 smaller chin's (not zombified), brother caught 2 steelies while I caught the biggest one (but only one). If you guys ever have a chance to go drifting for steelies GO!!! Some of the most fun freshwater hunting you could come across!!!Tight lines good buddies, keep hitting those banks hard pre-spawn is just around the corner!!!🤗 #FishinHole #MemberDatMonday
