Two different channel cats caught on back to back casts! On a garlic marinated hotdog. Happy Labor Day!!!!

Biggest bass that I’ve caught out of this pond so far. Rigged this yum hellgrammite special. First cast underneath a tree, hooked this healthy bass. Happy Labor Day weekend!!!

At least I didn’t get 🦨ed. Caught the channel cat on hotdogs marinated with garlic powder. Caught the two green sunfish on back to back casts, they were hiding in the rocks.

Last fish of the day! I was over fishing by the DO NOT FISH PAST THIS POINT sign, when I snagged my little curly tailed group on a big log. I had to snap my twenty pound braid and walk back over to my bike serving as my rod holder. I don’t know how long this guy was on, but he had completed flipped my bike over, luckily my Baitcaster was unharmed. I sprint the rest of the way over and the fish is still on! Definitely not the biggest I’ve caught out of here, but not the smallest either. Sadly tomorrow I have a daily event called school that I must attend. Then I have football practice, so I won’t be fishing until Labor Day weekend. Tight Lines everyone!!🎣

No I was not fishing past that point, I was casting past the point. 😁 No fishing past this point = a lot of hungry, aggressive fish. Only managed to land this very small guy.

Last fish of the day. Those little channel catfish dorsal spines hurt, especially when they flop at just the right time when you are trying to grip them.

Third fish of the day, a baby largemouth. There were bluegill spawning in the shallow water, but I couldn’t get the ones a little deeper to bite at all. I had a bunch of little bites, but couldn’t hook anything.
