Exactly one week after catching my PB, I get this beauty on the same lake, same time of day, with the same lure, less than 100 yards away. Don't mind catching one fish each trip when they're like this 😌

PB largemouth 🤙🏼 pictures do not do this beauty justice, but after spending way too long trying to get the hook out my biggest concern was getting it back in the water. Happy to see it swim back home after a quick photoshoot 😁

Had to perform extensive surgery to get my hook out and didn't have gloves so I felt like it was in both of our best interests for him to stay in the net for a quick pic but... First bowfin 🤷🏼‍♂️

found this 17 incher spawning on her bed and i was the lucky guy to catch her but then i let her back to make more bass babies
