Kokanee are very delicate, and very unfortunately, this one didn’t make it. It was out of the water for about 30-45 seconds as I was quickly texting my family if we wanted to keep it. They said no so I put it back in the water but it didn’t swim off. 😔 it’s the circle of life and it will probably be eagle food but still sad and unfortunate 😔

Beautiful night to be fishing. Fishing for a total of 20 minutes caught two Kokanee but was then too dark to keep fishing. Very pink/orange beautiful meat 😋

Long nose sucker. Going down to the north Thompson river in an hour. Caught on tugston jig.

Caught the tank of a Kokanee trolling with a dodger wedding band and pink shoepeg corn and the sucker with a tugston jig and white shoepeg corn right by the dock. If you have any questions, I’ll Answer!

Just with brown power bait and white Shoepeg corn. Theres huge 7-8 pounders in there. Caught 15 fish in 2 hours.

Trolling with a dodger with a weight and a wedding band with pink shoepeg corn at about 20-35 feet deep. Caught 10 fish in 2 hours, 7 Kokanee and 3 rainbows. Going back out tonight.
