Goldeye

Caught my first ever gold eye by accident. I saw a bobber floating down the river and just assumed it was a lost rig, but it came swimming back up towards me so I casted my spoon at it and was able to get the line around it. When I pulled it in the fish had a plastic in its mouth and must’ve broke someone’s rig on a rock or something.

Caught a Sucker too, No pic sadly

Nibbled my rig twice before it decided to bite 2 of the 3 treble hooks on the lower and upper jaw.

Cool Goldeye on some love shad, my first time encountering one of these.
