Mill Creek

Undersized walleye on a worm. Not quite sure if the walleye fully knew what was going on.

Well, everyone else was getting skunked, but I managed to find about 8 or so. None worth keeping, but still. Feels good to be out on the water.

Looks like the walleyes are running. couple of good ones. Best one was 17 1/2 inches in a historically 10-13 inch area.

Got off work early, ended up spending an afternoon fishing Mill Creek. Caught a very nice Redhorse (first photo), but unfortunately he ended up breaking my very crappy stringer. Caught a small perch, which has to be a fluke or something, and same with the small minnow in the third photo. Honestly, not sure what it is. Anyone got some thoughts on it?

A nice redhorse for today. oh, and a bass that was pretty much the size of the hook.

No roughfish today, but a nice Smallmouth Bass.
