Beech Fork

It was another slow evening of fishing and I thought I was going to get skunked. I caught this new personal best bass on a chartreuse and white spinnerbait casting across the creek channel. It measured 19 inches long and scaled out at 3 pounds 7 ounces! Now it’s time for a new goal.

The bigger bass were in hiding, but I found a spot where cooperative dinks were hanging out. All 8 of my bass were caught on a tube twitched just under the surface on a floating jig head. Lots of missed fish on short strikes but a very fun day. I love watching the strike on a surface lure.

We fished Beech Fork Lake for just over an hour after work. The lake is finally back up to summer pool, but kind of muddy. I managed to find this bass on a crankbait. #Catch2020
