Unnamed / St Clair Drive Pond

The bass wanted nothing to do with me today but still had a lot of fun chasing bluegill with my ultralight.

First time catching a fish using a jerk bait. On my next cast I got a backlash, the line went taut, and the lure snapped off and flew into the pond! Luckily the wind blew it to shore and I recovered it a half hour later.

Even though it was pretty chilly yesterday, caught a few nice ones. Used a grande bass air tail wiggles cut in half and Ned rigged. Black & blue. Forgot to take a picture of the 3rd one.

Not a bad couple of hours at the pond. Score - Kamden 3, Dad 0
