Unity Park Pond

Caught my pb out at the pond today at 5lb 2oz, had another one I had caught shortly after getting there that was probably between 3-4lbs, but the line broke when I dragged it through the weeds to pull it onto the bank unfortunately.. met a young man out there this morning who makes his own soft plastics as well.. he said he has a YouTube channel Hill Country Lures if anyone wants to check it out and support a local young man on his fishing lure business https://youtube.com/@hillcountrylures?si=eKrAKK3HH6g5NRAd 🤘

Another 2 this morning. Nothing too big, but I did have a fairly big bluegill for bait that one grabbed and instantly had that drag screaming and then the damn hook broke somehow so I never even got to see it. Almost guaranteed pb 😫

Caught 2 this evening.. was thinking I would have had more luck since the water was flowing fairly nicely after all that rain last night and today, especially since I seen bass breaking on the bait fish right around that culvert, but there were also about 10 turtles swimming around everywhere I wanted to cast too, so I couldn't fish where I wanted exactly lol still a good time at least

One this morning.. I did have one that looked to be between 4-5lbs come flying out of the water twice after my bluegill that was scurrying across the top of the water but he missed it twice. Also had my line break on the hookset shortly afterwards around the same area. Getting too hot to fish out there though unfortunately

4lb 13oz, and a couple decent sized bluegill..missed one one a bigger bluegill but couldn't get the hookset for some reason

Went back this evening for a lil bit after it rained some..glad I did lol

Only one today. Could see 2 or 3 smaller ones feasting on schools of minnows but couldn't get them to bite. The grass and muck was cleared out a bit which was nice at least

Caught 3 this morning.. a lot of grass moved there in front of the culvert which made things a little difficult but glad I was still able to catch something lol
