Lake Sam's Club Pond

Only a dink but got four about this size using the fly rod for the first time. Unfortunately the weight of it's too big for these guys, so reeling them in was annoyingly difficult. Fly fishing for bass seems like a lot of faff 😂 but got it for saltwater trips. Have to make an excuse to go down the coast and get some red fish!

Happy Easter! 🐣 Caught a few dinky bass and my first sunfish of the year. Some reason I just haven't had them bite til today. Also missed a lot of hook sets. Better get that new rod! On that note, also have to invest in a saltwater fly rod as we are going fishing I'm Belize this summer! Chance to get bonefish, tarpon and Permit which I'm really looking forward to!
