Read Below ! Today was a very pretty day, and I was able to beat the skunk with this lil fat skunk buster 😃. I was able to hook up with a couple other LMB but never got to touch them , it was one of those touch less catch and release type of days . I boat flipped a 2 pounder and it bounced across the rear deck came off and flipped back in the water . Then a couple hours later I hooked about a 3.5 lb.-er on a lay-down tree and got in a hurry trying to muscle it out before it got me wrapped up . The fish came up fast , jumped out of the water shook its Head bye-bye and spit my hook even with a trailer hook . Lesson Learned ! This is the same KVD spinner bait I have caught some of my last few posted bass on . Sometimes over confidence in trailer hooks can cost you fish . this is something we have to be reminded of every now and then ! Also trying to horse a fish out of cover can hurt you ! Remember to play-em ; not horse-em and we will land more fish. Hopefully the bite will be better in the morning, and I will be able to post all of my hook ups 😁

Took my daughter and my little sister camping this weekend. Not much fish as it’s a camping/swimming area, but I managed to catch a blue gill then gave her my pole and she caught a little blue cat!
