Big Sioux River

My first catch on my brother’s birthday back in September (with help). He was an avid fisherman and why I got into fishing. Thankful God gave me this love for fishing I can share still with my brother David.

Channel Catfish at Big Sioux River Tributary

first open water fish of the year! ok so we were walking my dogs down by tuthill park, and i brought a rod with that had a ned rig. the river was half frozen so there was only a tiny bit of open water to cast into… only took about ten minutes to catch him👍

got a few with my friend last night finally was able to catch something of decent size

lots of sunnys and chubs at the big sioux couldnt manage anything big though. tried out a new spot at the yankton trails park
