Really slow start only catching 2 in the first 2.5hrs at the spillway. So I changed it up and waded the creek...found ‘em! Only bass of the day was that tiny dink!

If you gonna catch chubs, make them count! These are the only 2 chubs for the day.

They were on FIRE 🔥 today!!! The rain from the hurricane, yesterday, really brought them out, today! I caught about 15 more that didn’t get pics taken, as they were in too much of a rush to get back to the water! Some where pushing half a pound! The creek wasn’t full, but was about 80-85% tho, much better than the 35-40% water flow that it had been. Was an amazing blue gill day!

Went to Indiantown Run where it runs under the Interstate.

First pic, monster chub! Waded the length of Indiantown Run from the spillway to the Interstate tunnel. Was doing great till I lost my spinner to a tree. Backup was a little Mepp’s Comet minnow spinner. They were hitting it hard! But just couldn’t get any hooksets tho! 🤷♂️

Once I hit the bridge, decided I wasn’t done yet...so, kept on wading!
