Blanchard River

Largest of the year! I do gig work on my days off, so when the work is slow, I like to go fishing. This guy was the last catch before it started pouring rain on Monday. The smallie and other largemouth I caught were much smaller. This one made my day! Length/weight are estimates. It was hooked weird and took me a bit to get the hook out, and I didn't want to spend another 5 minutes weighing and trying to measure it, so I snapped the pics and put it back in the water.

First of the year and it was a Smallie! Girlfriend took the picture, she was fishing with me. Went fishing again the following day and both of use got skunked. Was good to be out though.

Walked along shore today, forgot my water shoes. Caught these 2, thankful i caught something!

Nothing super big but lots of hits- Some white bass, cat, largemouth, smallmouth, and bluegill all along the same run of river.

Bunch of dinks. Was a nice day though. I caught roughly a dozen. They were hitting a texas rig at first but I switched to a ned rig and they were hitting that as soon as it hit the water.
