Caught a 3lb and a Dink before it got sweltering in the marsh. Just noticed this was the same fish I caught May 11th. Notice the red abscess or whatever it is by fin. Looks healed up more now

Caught this on my 3rd cast. But it wrapped me around a bush about 6ft from the bank. Had to wade out to about thigh deep to free it. Boots soaked so called it a day as much as I wanted to keep fishing with wet feet.

Just curious on what everyone's go-to plastic rig is as we get into mid summer. For me it's texas rig, sometimes pegged or even a big weightless trick worm. Just looking for suggestions to get me out of my comfort zone and learn different techniques. Lately I've been using a big 10 inch trick worm, no weight and seems to drive tiny buck bass nuts, even crappie. Just looking for random suggestions to try and get me out of my comfort zone. Thanks in advance
