Lake Tonetta

Had a good 'ol Nantucket sleigh ride this morning. Got pulled around the lake by this BEAST of a Grass Carp for 20 minutes. He was between 3 and 4 ft long, had to be at least 30lbs. He splashed so much water into the kayak with his tail that I had to drain it.

Moon was so bright tonight, had to do a little night fishing. Couldn't get a better pic because he wouldn't stop flopping around! They really fight hard

Saw a little splash near the lily pads, dropped my lure right on top of him and WHAM! #CatchKing

Only one I caught this morning, but I'll take it!

Nice haul today, 13 keepers, including thus hog 1.5 lbs, 14"

Lunker Alert! First big bass of the year, just a hair over 4lbs, almost up to my knee. Hopefully a sign of a good season 🤞

Only my third 4 pounder this year, hence the cheesy smile
