Recent Catches At Trout Lake

One more small mouth (and small size). Caught him on a pheasant tail. Thank Nebraska Game and Parks for stock these fish. Hopefully they will get bigger for next time. Still fun and another nice day to be out fishing.

Found a school of baby yellow perch by the reeds. Green wooly bugger proved to be irresistible to them. Caught four about same size before I moved on.

Caught some small mouth bass and yellow perch at Two Rivers SRA. This guy was a fighter! Prince Nymph fly pattern.

Nice sunset tonight. One last cast and I caught this little guy on a popper. Fly barely landed and he hit it. 😎
