Big Elk Lake

I wanted to get on some different species yesterday. Set a new pb for myself

I know it ain't much, but I got a pb smallie for myself too

First yellow perch that I’ve caught at Big Elk. And I thought the smallmouth was small. 😉 Good to finally catch one though.

Finally had some luck at Big Elk. Caught this baby Smallmouth on a bead head nymph 10-feet off the bank.

Caught my last smallmouth for the day on a trusted black woolly bugger.

Caught a second smallmouth on the same fly. 😎

Caught a smallmouth on my own hand-tied wet fly. 👍
