Siseebakwet Lake

Vacationing with family and my grandson caught his 1st walleye Very difficult lake to fish because water is so clear. Caught in plus 30 feet of water

lil scatter of fish from my trip up north, didn’t catch much big fish but tons of little pike, the ones I took pics of were the biggest and that proved a lot of how small the pike we caught, but the lake we went to wasn’t that good for fishing but awesome for swimming

Been trying out my new golden shiner live target swim bait, and it for sure is working but just isn’t producing big fish, even the more deep I go

went out trolling took a little while but finally found this at 11:30. I used a rapala

We finally got up to the lake I grew up on after 30 years, and only were equipped for day fishing. Sugar Lake is so clear with limited weed growth so u spook fish. We still caught perch panfish and northerns but next time we will be set up for night fishing to catch walleyes. A truly beautiful lake and Ruttgers Lodge is top notch. This was actually from aug 2019 and planned on going again in 2020 but covid prevented us. We made reservations, however for Aug 2021 yeah!
