Got this lil buddy today better then a skunk I guess

caught on ugly stick at a little water hole in jenison.

Well, here she is. My #PB. This was a rough week at work. It's Friday and 60 degrees out. I should have been excited to get out and go fishing, but I really wasn't. I almost didn't go. I was tired, run down and only had an hour. I pulled myself together and got out there anyway. First cast on the @googanbaits jerkbait, and I'm about 15 yards from shore. I saw a very large swirl and my rod bent over. She pulled drag which caught me off guard. I was able to get her to shore and my heart was racing. She was a tank. Biggest bass I've ever caught! I have to send a huge thank you to a few YouTube channels. @debos_fishing @burlyfishing @_randizzles_ @bassgeekfishing you all have taught me so much. Lures, techniques, rod and reel combos and, most importantly, to just get out and fish. If you've got an hour, go; rain, shine, wind, hot, doesn't matter get out there! Your next cast could be your next PB. Sorry I didn't get more pictures of her, she swallowed the whole bait and one of the hooks poked a gill and she was bleeding so I wanted to get her back in the water. Hopefully she heals and grows to be an absolute unit!
