Caught a little Black Crappie at MHC today.

Caught a fall fish at MHC. Probably a foot long and .5 - .75 pounds. I caught it using a 1/8 oz jig head, #4 hook, with a 2” green and black soft plastic.

Caught a 1 pound largemouth today on live minnows. Otherwise, not too much action on the water today.

This is my biggest largemouth bass ever. Easily around 4 pounds! Used a rather small live minnow too. This absolute cow of a fish must have been hungry.

Caught a blue gill using green, garlic scented salmon eggs. The eggs stink! However, salmon eggs catch blue gill pretty easily at MHC. Both red and green eggs work

Caught two bass on live minnows this morning. One was about a pound, the 2nd one pictured here was a bit bigger. Probably 1.25-1.5 pounds. Both fought good.

Caught a decent-sized Yellow Perch on a live minnow.

Caught a small crappie with live minnows. My uncle and I also caught a couple 1 pound largemouth bass. MHC continues to be a great spot for using live bait.
