Out in the yak fish #1

First off it's nice to be back on the water. My 1 year old had the flu then throat and ear infection. Then I came down with covid. So I've not done much fishing. But I got to get out and prefish and fish a tournament this weekend with Bluegrass Kayak Anglers. You could fish any lake in the state under 500 acres. So we chose Beaver Lake in lawrenceburg ky it had been hot for us lately. I never got to get the bigger fish I'd been seeing out of it but had fun. I placed 16th of 46 anglers. I got to catch 39 Bass over two days on senkos and frogs and other random baits all thrown on grass and up under trees. My advice get a good combo that will allow you to skip these things. It was key to catching the fish I did. Tight lines!

At it again! Beaver Lake surprised me today. Ive caught some small bass out of there but today I had an 18.25 inch Largemouth hit the Texas rig senko. Big surprise. Caught 6 others but the next biggest was 13.25. Makes you wonder what else is in there. Tight lines everyone!

Caught 3 spots on a brand new lake we've never been to before. I forgot to take a pic of one of them. It was really windy and they're still a little lethargic but we had a good time.
