Wakarusa River

Not sure weight or length for sure, somewhere around 10. Just a cheapo walmart brand crank bait in a bluegill colorway.

My first Striped Bass, hit hard and stripped drag like crazy, thought it was a huge cat at first. Made great fish tacos!

Little tyke, didn't know he was on until I reeled in to leave.

My PB Flatty, he was 10 or so. CPR.

Bit on a....plastic swimbait for some reason. Not complaining, fun fight.

PB Drum. Also took home to eat, not my favorite but by no means a "trash fish". These guys are native here and folks need to stop throwing them up on the bank. They put up a great fight and can get really big. This was a hoot on my Slab Shaker.

Accidentally snagged this beautiful native River Carpsucker. Really cool fish. Makes a funny sound when you put your finger in their mouth 😂 CPR
