Shawnee Mission Park Pond

I was fishing on top of the drain, when I look down and someone had left their fluke lures in the grass. I rig it up and first cast, I catch this guy! I guarantee I’m never doing that again haha!

Great spot and has different kind of fish in a little spillway!

Tried a couple new spots on the lake and had no love so decided to hit the little spillway that I’ve seen on YouTube real quick and caught this little guy. Lol

Today it was an awesome adventure, I hit a spillway and there was a ton of fish in this pool. I think I've caught around 30 plus mixed bass and sunfish. Talk about an awesome birthday :) everyone was working so I decided to go fishing.
