Early Sunday morning, light breeze, calm waters, soft plastic paddle tail 🎣x2

1st Pre-spawn catch at this location using my new clamps…lil guy was almost white in person - new lure - mini rapula square bill crank green/yellow on a slow steady retrieve, CHOMP!

Not terrible for my first day back in Iowa. Bass are definitely still on their beds. Only thing they would bite was the Bellows Gill. 😀

Incredibly tough fishing tonight. No clouds, 100 degrees and the Bluegill were hiding out. I threw everything from ninja throwing stars, shot pop bottle rockets at them, drove a farmers riding mower into the pond, even jumped my new truck in the pond as well. Nothing. Then, the sun finally started to set and I nabbed these 3 with an old cricket bat. Can't complain, didn't get skunked! Happy fishing y'all. #catch22

The Bluegill weren't having it last night but managed to catch a few. Caught these using a 27 foot pole saw. #catch22
