Mill Creek Spill-Off Pond

With the time change I’m finally able to get back out to the pond after work. Caught these two this week and I’m probably most proud of the smaller one because I caught him tonight after trying out a ned rig for the first time. I usually stick with Texas but I’m trying desperately to figure out what the fish in this pond want this year. I rarely catch more than one fish (if any) when I’m at this spot so here’s hoping I’m on to something. 🤞🏻

You know that moment when your cast lands exactly where you wanted it to and you just know you’re coming up with a fish? This little feller is that guy. He’s not big but he might as well have been 15lbs because I am so happy. The particular pond I was fishing has skunked me for MONTHS and this fish finally broke the dry spell.
