Florida bass are hungry and strike without hesistation it seems. Quick 15 min sesh at a random little water hole

My final fish from Black lake on the grounds of Disney’s animal lodge. Caught this little guy on a wacky rigged ned worm (robo worm sunset color) and wiggling it on top of the water to look like an insect. The other pic is what is left of my pole when the next fish hit. It was my finesse pole rigged with 8 lb braid. Hooked one, thought it was another dink until it started running out my drag. I tightened the drag and then the pole double over, and snapped in three. Tried to hand line the fish and it broke off the line. Would have been my pb for sure. Damn, Florida, you crazy!

Caught one last bass on Black lake at Disney animal lodge. Caught on a wacky rigged robo worm ned in sunset color. Was working it on top water and wiggling it. The second pics are what are left of my pole a few casts later. Finally hooked that big one that I wanted. Drag was loose and it was running. I tightened the drag and then realized how big the fish was. It snapped my pole in three pieces. I then grabbed the line and started pulling the fish in. It then snapped the line-8lb braid. Didn’t see the fish, only saw it strike the bait on top. Would have been my pb for sure. Damn Florida, you crazy!

Two more bass from Black lake next to Disney Orlando’s animal lodge. Both caught on wacky rigs, the smaller one on a white/silver yum dinger 5 inch. The second was caught on a pumpkinseed googan lunker log. I didn’t weigh either, but they were less than two lbs, the bigger one a little closer to two.
