Caught him on a speedworm, slow bite early this morning.

a 3lb 1oz and 3lb 4oz. Smaller one was caught on a chatterbait. larger one was actually floating upside about to die. I was able to snag his gill plate and bring him in and turns out this cichlid was lodged in his throat and gills. after a little surgery and a lot of reviving, he was able to swim away to grow for another day.

Little one hit the big worm like a truck

My first birthday bass! biggest of day. lot of dinks for day. any day fishing is a good day fishing. Even if you don't catch anything.

Went out today with the intention of quitting this new favorite pastime of mine. I found a great spot. Caught four large mouth bass today.
