Mountain Lake

Got out for a B day paddle. Only caught 3 little ones. With the most timid bite ever. The spawn is over and it's now a big bath tub of hot water. Still a good day. #catch22

Wife and I managed to fish for 15 minutes before it opened up from the heavens... Did manage to catch dinner though. #catch22

The wife and I got out this afternoon and had a lot of fun. All we caught were small bluegill but no complaints here. We released most of them but kept 6 so I can try out my new electric filet knife. The bite was really hot for a while.

The wife and I got to get a few hours of fishing in before the storms. The fishing is never good here but always a great trip. Just a few miles from my house. The wife caught 1 little fish and I missed 1 fish. #catch22

Went after tilapia and had no luck in worms for them but I did find 2 blue gill nest. Landed 8 before I gave up. Sadly every single one was the same size. Fun day in a great spot. Less than 4 miles from the house. #catch22
