Just a couple dinks before the rain came.

Story time…this beast was caught on “my last cast” she hit it like a champ and the fight was on Now here’s the crazy story..prior to this fish I had one break my line..I retied..about say 10 minutes..very first cast..BAM and it’s the 14 incher..I take the hook out and look in its mouth..as I always do…and what do I see…but my HOOK THAT I JUST LOST with the jig worm hooked to the very back of its mouth…I’m so glad I had my buddy out with me or nobody would have believed it..that hook is will be saved and mounted when I catch another big one. Landed 3 missed another 3…and of course one big ugly turtle.. I believe my assumption about the amount of rain was correct. It’s like the switch has been turned on.
