Total of 4 for the day 2 17 inchers and 2 dinks. Not bad for wind that was dragging my double anchored kayak across the pond

Story time I caught this nice bass and he gave a hell of a fight pulling my kayak around. Once inside the yak I discovered that he had swallowed the hook. I tried my best to save him but released him with the hook still in his mouth and he was bobbing on top of the water. While I was watching him bob in the water feeling really bad about how it ended up…a Baled Eagle 🦅 swooped in and plucked him out of the water. Proving once again the magical world we live in.

First catch! he’s a little longer than the pliers but i forgot to bring my ruler :(
